A Friday tour, different, but still better than working for the day.\u00a0 We traveled the same tour today as we did last week, but were joined by 2 more guests.\u00a0 Tom Hundt and Pat Stephens, join Bill, Teresa, and Myself on this perfect day.\u00a0 Temperatures for the day were at 78\u00b0 with sunny skies and a slight breeze, that worked for us more than it was against us.\u00a0 We finished our 10.75 mile trip,\u00a0at a faster pace of 4.0 miles per hour, about .8 faster than last week, but none of us felt we worked any harder on the paddles.\u00a0 The water temperature had dropped down to 66\u00b0 so a bit brisk at first, but still a comfortable day.\u00a0 The river stage had dropped slightly to 4.3 but still a great height for our trip.<\/p>\n
We saw Deer, Blue Herons, several Eagles, and again we were surrounded by Geese–a couple of them remembered Bill calling them from last week, they were very interested in hearing if his language “call” had improved.<\/p>\n
