7/26/2019 VV to Hunters Bridge

A “out of ordinary” trip today on a FRIDAY.  May out of my comfort zone 🙂   Bill and Teresa, Tom Hundt, and myself cruised the River today, it has been a long time and will be many conflicts for the next 3 weeks, so we had to do it so we could go.  A beautiful day of 87° and sunny with water temperatures of 72° made for a great experience.  THe water level was at 7.4 ft.   We traveled the 12.5 mile trip in in record time, averaging 4.6 miles per hour due to the high currents and water levels, but also with smooth waters and a little wind.  We only saw 1 Eagle at the end of the trip and I missed it on the camera.  I took very few pictures today, because we did the same trip on 5/3/2019, so just look at those pictures.  Here is our day:
