Hunter’s Bridge to Lytle Bay was the trip–12 miles of the lower Black River. We had 13 family members on the trip that included: Amy Dokken, Ben and LeeAnn, Bob, Jim and Janice, Kurt and Jessie, Brian Heinz, Matt Draeger, Ellen and Shawn, and Me. A great group and we all had Fun…The temperature for the day was 95°, mostly cloudy until late then nice and sunny. The water a very comfortable 76°. The river stage was 3.6 feet. We saw many Eagles and even a few flying low overhead or sitting in the tree and watching us–deciding if they should eat any of us–but I guess we were not very appetizing.
Again a great day. If any of you want any of these pictures–all you have to do is “right click on the picture” and then save it where ever you want. Thank you all for coming. I enjoy this day very much every year.

This house is falling into the river. They have abandoned it and the bank continues to erode under the house. They had to remove the deck, it won’t be long now before it is all in the river.
