A beautiful day for paddling. We waited until Sunday to get the best weather. We all did our “social distancing” as the year of COVID will be with us for a while. We started a little later start to let it warm up and we are off. Bill and Teresa Peters, Steve Dunn, Tom Hundt, Pat Stephens, and I, all traveled the 13 miles from Hwy VV at North Bend to Hunter’s Bridge. Our weather was a warm high of 72° and water temperature has warmed up 8° in a week to 52°. The level was right at a safe 5.2 feet, so we were able to complete our 13 mile journey at 3.8 mph in 4 hours with almost an hour of stop and play time.
Our Eagle count for the day was too high to keep track of, but they were out flying everywhere, a lot of fun to watch. Watch and enjoy the video to see them also enjoying their day.
