We had a beautiful day, again, 73° and nothing but sun. We did go on Sunday this week, to make up for lost time, we did not want to lose another weekend due to conflicts, so right after church we made a bee line for the river. Remember–we DID g0 to church first. The water temperature was right at 54° and the depth stage was 9.1 feet when we left, but rose all day. The current was again fast this week, we traveled 13.07 miles in 2 hours and 50 minutes for an average traveling speed of 4.7 miles per hour. We were not really working hard at it, it was an easy trip. The fearsome list of travelers for the day were: Bill and Teresa, Tom, Me, Steve and 3 guests of Steve. Our guests were Dennis and Carol, and Jim, we all had a great time, even the guests–or at least they said they did.
